What Will We Work On?
- Every session is built around you: your level, your characters, and your goals. There's no one-size-fits-all curriculum.
- We'll start by looking at where you are and where you want to go.
- From there, each session is a mix of guided draw-alongs, real-time responses to your questions, targeted exercises, and hands-on feedback—the kind of instruction you can't get from a tutorial video.
- I'll draw alongside you, explain my thinking out loud, and give you specific strategies you can use immediately and carry forward on your own.
- If you're still building your foundation, we'll work on the fundamentals that make your illustrations feel dynamic and believable.
- If you're more advanced, we'll push into character design, visual consistency, and giving your characters a personality that jumps off the page.
- You won't just watch me draw—you'll draw with me, get real feedback in the moment, and leave each session with a clearer sense of what to do next.

What's a "Character Bible"?
These are comprehensive explorations of your character, which establishes visual rules and consistency as you progress on your project. Most importantly, it shows agents and publishers—the ones you’re hoping to sell your work to—that your characters are thoroughly developed, giving them confidence in your abilities.
Also, we can explore various character expressions, world-building, and develop additional characters for your story.
